The body in motion was the focus for this project. I wanted to build a set of pieces that achieved this goal of mobility without relying on fabrics to do the heavy lifting. So each piece has highly obsessed pattern work solving for range of motion.

Secondly, these pieces were designed to to layer and attach to each other in different ways to create new silhouettes. They were sewn in hand dyed fabrics that were intended to alter and control how light filtered through them to create soft, beautiful dimension.
